At Gears & Giving, our mission has always been about Turning Wrenches into Wishes, and today we'd like to introduce you to an incredible little girl who has captured our hearts.

Meet Jade, a beautiful 3-year-old fighter.

Last summer, Jade was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. After months of chemotherapy, her family celebrated what they hoped was the end of her battle when she completed her final treatment on May 14th.

Sadly, that celebration was short-lived.

Doctors discovered microscopic cancer cells hiding in her cerebrospinal fluid. The cancer has now spread around her brain and spine, resulting in leptomeningeal disease.

Jade's cancer carries an ALK mutation, and she is currently receiving targeted therapy. Her family is holding tightly to hope:
 Best case, the treatment stops the cancer from spreading.
 Next best, it slows the disease and gives them more precious time together.
 Every day, they continue to pray for a miracle.

No parent should ever have to walk this road alone.

On August 15th, Gears & Giving is honored to make Jade the focus of our event. Our goal is to help ease some of the financial burden on her family while reminding them that an entire community stands beside them with love, encouragement, and prayer.

We ask each of you to do three simple things:

 Pray for Jade and her family.
 Share her story so others can lift them up.
 Join us on August 15th and help us make a difference in Jade's life.

Every registration, raffle ticket, donation, and sponsorship helps us support children like Jade and their families during life's toughest battles.
