Jasper is our October 10th sponsored child! Jasper is 3 years old and was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in June. He began treatment immediately. Within the span of our initial 10-day hospital stay, he had a port placed in his chest, had a bone marrow biopsy and lumbar puncture, and started chemo and a bunch of other medicines. In the past few months, he’s been through so many medications and procedures, but by the grace of God he is in remission. He still has a long road of treatment ahead of him for the next two years to keep the cancer away. The family has to travel to Vanderbilt every 7-10 days for his treatments.
